Origin

Brazil Samba is a natural-processed blend grown at 1000-1150 MASL on the Rio Brilhante farm in Coromandel, Minas Gerais, run by the Urban family. This lot combines Catuaí 99, Catuaí 144, and Catucaí 20/15 varieties. Cherries are machine-harvested, hand-sorted, sun-dried on patios for five days, then finished in rotary dryers for consistency and sweetness. Beyond quality, Rio Brilhante is committed to sustainability-preserving natural land, using renewable energy, supporting local employment, and investing in community and education initiatives within the coffee-growing region.

Moving Beyond Foreword

More than coffee, “Foreword” is an introduction to a book, typically written by someone else other than the author. The book of inclusivity can’t be written by us alone; we invite you to join us in this very journey.
